|** Recommended Gameplay: A carnage mod like Mr. Pants' Excessive Overkill for UT. I gurantee |
|                         the bots will be psychotic with EO. To give you an idea, I had a 16-|
|                         player botmatch going with balanced teams and a 15-minute timer set.|
|                         The game ended up lasting 45 minutes until my team won 1-0. Insane. |
|                         In addition, I don't endorse any kind of gameplay whatsoever without|
|                         AT LEAST 16 players. The map supports up to 80 if you are batshit   |
|                         insane, so do what you like.                                        |

|                        **   D E T A I L E D  I N F O :   **                                 |

|** I based this map off of the Total Annihilation free-for-all carnage map Metal Heck, which |
|   was one of the stock TA maps. I, however, went a bit further in my detailing and layout,  |
|   incorporating the bits of Z-Axis we all love. My original intent was for the map to be    |
|   completely asymmetrical barring the flag bases, but that ended up not working out so well.|
|   I also had originally intended to add a whole other dimension to the map with underground |
|   sewers. That ended up becoming unfeasible due to engine limitations and an obscene rebuild|
|   time. The current layout works well, however; bots do their thing and do it skillfully.   |
|                                                                                             |
|** I NEVER TESTED THIS MAP WITH NORMAL WEAPONS! Sue me. I just kinda threw them out there    |
|   (using as much common sense as possible), so it isn't perfect. The map is truly an        |
|   Excessive map at heart.                                                                   |
|                                                                                             |
|** THIS MAP IS HUGE. REPEAT. HUGE. HEWJE. If you run a low-end rig like me (GeForce 2 MK400) |
|   you can try a few things to get this to run better.                                       |
|   -- 1) Play with 16 players (no more, no less).                                            |
|   -- 2) Turn off Decals completely.                                                         |
|   -- 3) Run in a lower resolution than normal, like 800x600.                                |
|   -- 4) Avoid the upper sniping areas where you can see lots of the map at once.            |
|                                                                                             |
|** I optimized the map as much as I could, but given the S T A T S below, you can see how    |
|   immense this thing is. If you have a high-end rig, however, it should be fine. Lord EBM   |
|   (EXU Legionnaire) did wonderfully and has the following:                                  |

|** So clearly you need some beef in your box for this thing to be smooth. The gameplay IMO   |
|   makes up for the poor performance, though. And I apologize for the ass-ugly zone light.   |
|   I did it to make the map run faster (and it ended up running about 3X faster when I       |
|   deleted half of the overhead lights). Sacrifice!                                          |
